💙 A Note About Our Fundraising Our £100,000 fundraising target represents our ambition to support bereaved families through the work of The Henry Nowak Foundation. The donation total displayed above reflects donations received directly through this website and may not include additional fundraising events, offline donations or contributions from our supporters and partners. An incredible £265,100 has already been raised in Henry’s memory, with every penny going directly to 2wish, a bereavement charity that provided invaluable support to Lucy and her family following Henry’s death. Lucy was introduced to 2wish because Henry tragically lost his life in Southampton. Through the support she received, Lucy came to realise that there was a significant gap in bereavement support for families in her own community of Thurrock. Inspired by the compassion and care shown to her family by 2wish, Lucy made the decision to create The Henry Nowak Foundation in memory of her beautiful son, with the ambition of bringing that same comfort, understanding and support to bereaved families in Thurrock and the surrounding areas. The £265,100 raised for 2wish is entirely separate from The Henry Nowak Foundation and is not included in our £100,000 fundraising target. All funds raised directly for our Foundation will support our own charitable mission. We will always be grateful to 2wish for the support they gave Lucy and her family. Their kindness helped inspire a vision that we hope will make a lasting difference to other families facing unimaginable loss.
